Montague Tree Lighting 2009
Montague held its tree lighting ceremony in December, which included live music, a visit from Santa Claus and tasty treats.

On September 1st, the Aspin family held a press conference on the waterfront to announce that the Canada Tree would come to stay in Montague.

Oktoberfest 2008
Oktoberfest is a great time in our community for people to get together for some fun.

This year the Rotary Club hosted a duck race to raise money. Kids from the local consolidated school were on hand selling seafood, hotdogs, and numerous tasty treats. Cyclists gathered after completing a long ride on the Canada Trail. Soap box racers competed nearby to see who was the most fearless racer. Amusement rides were also avalable for young and old alike.
