Police protection is provided to the Town of
Montague by the Kings District, Royal Canadian Mounted Police,
Operating
out of the Montague Detachment.
The District Commander is S/Sgt. Larry Cavanagh and Sgt. Don
MacGregor is the Operational NCO. In addition to the aforementioned,
the Montague Detachment has a complement of two Corporals,
thirteen Constables and three Detachment Assistants.
Three members of this Detachment are assigned exclusively to
policing the Town.
